All bookings made with The pretty events co. are subject to these terms and conditions.
Our pictures and displays shown on our website are to give you a general idea of the products and ideas we offer. These may vary due to availability.
We hold a PRODUCT AND PUBLIC LIABILITY insurance up to £1 million which can be provided upon request.
Payment
We require 30% of the balance at the time of booking and a damage/loss deposit.
This non-refundable amount secures your date and also covers any necessary work carried out prior to the event.
This can be (but not limited to) consultations, sourcing items, creating quotes and invoices, travel to and from venues for measurements etc.
By paying the 30% you are accepting these terms and conditions.
Your final balance will be due 4 weeks before your event date.
All quotes are valid for 21 days. After this we reserve the right to make any adjustments to products/services/delivery/collection costs where necessary.
Damage/loss deposit
As previously mentioned, a damage/loss deposit will be required at the time of booking. This will be refunded back to you a maximum of 5 working days after your event holds once all products are accounted for and checked for damage.
Anything supplied for your booking is subject to a damage/replacement charge up to the full retail value.
Items are hired to you, the client, and therefore all responsibility lies with you, not the venue, until the items have been returned to The Pretty Events Co.
Although some items may look interesting and fun for little hands, we do ask that no child is left unsupervised with any item hired, particularly glassware. If a Sweet buffet is being hired an adult MUST be available to assist and children are never left to help themselves.
Delivery/Collection
Our team will deliver any hired products to your event on the date and time as agreed with yourselves. We will also confirm this with your venue.
Despite our best efforts there may be circumstances that may delay us, we will not be held liable for any delay which is out of our control.
Due to the UK's unpredictable weather conditions, we do not permit some products to be used outside. Please discuss with us beforehand if you are planning on using a stable wedding marquee.
If we are prevented from making a collection as per agreed, then a further fuel/time surcharge may be recovered from the damage/loss deposit.
Allergies
We regret to inform you that we will not take any responsibility for any allergies anyone at your event may have. We do our best to work with sweet products that have no nuts but as we use many different manufacturers, they may have been produced in factories that do.
We will always use food safe gloves and provide clean scoops and tongs for your guests.
Privacy policy and GDPR
Your details will not be disclosed to any third parties.
We store your details under the Data protection act and in accordance with GDPR rules.
The only time we will use them is to send you any correspondence and to deliver to your venue. If you require us to remove your information, please just let
us know. We do, from time to time use photos of our work on social media or whilst promoting our business. Should you wish to remain unnamed in any

Cancellation/ amendments
Any changes to your booking must be confirmed with us before 4 weeks prior to the event. Anything after this we may not be able to accommodate and you
will still be liable for payments due even if you no longer require particular items.
Cancellations of 28 days or more before the event date is loss of deposit (30% of your booking total)
Any cancellations after this, the whole balance is payable.
In each instance your damage/loss deposit will always be returned If this was collected.
If due to extreme circumstance, (e.g. Coronavirus) your event cannot go ahead, we will be happy to move your booking to another available date however
there will be a £25.00 admin fee. We ask that you kindly contact us as soon as is reasonably possible at theprettyeventsco@hotmail.com
Complaints
In the unlikely event of any dissatisfaction, we ask for you to please send us this in writing within 5 days. We reserve the right to refuse any complaint made
after this time.
